Dogs
don’t need fancy cars and big houses to be happy. They are happy to
just be. They are happy to live completely in the present, without
dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. You could work your
entire life to be happy and you will still never attain the level of
unadulterated bliss a dog feels when you merely walk in the door.
Playing
and having fun helps to eliminate stress from your life—and the same
holds true for your dog. In fact, incorporating various forms of play
into your dog's daily routine is vital to helping him develop a healthy,
loving personality.

Animals
can provide solace and comfort without saying a word. They listen
intently without judgment, provide a safe place to share your feelings
and can bring a sense of calm and normalcy to an otherwise chaotic or
tragic situation.

Our
dogs hate to see us fight with one another, or Dog forbid, get
physical. Even playful wrestling or tickle fights can be misconstrued as
an altercation by our fuzzbutts. Some may cry out or cower, others will
leap between you to break it up. Pups want everyone they love to love
each other, too.
They
also offer the benefit of helping their owners make friends. From
getting you out and about in your community during daily walks to
facilitating conversations with strangers, dogs are masters at
initiating social interactions.
